The definitive instrument to measure managerial leadership skills and competencies for the past three decades.
The Management Skills Assessment Instrument (MSAI)™ measures the skills and competencies of managers to facilitate culture change as well as to foster improvement in managerial leadership.
The MSAI™ is a 60-question assessment that reveals the current skill level of leaders in an organization. It does this by measuring 36 specific skills in 12 categories that correspond to the four quadrants in the Competing Values Framework (CVF)™, named as one of the Top 40 Frameworks in the history of business:
COLLABORATE
CONTROL
CREATE
COMPETE
The MSAI™ is administered via our online survey platform for a fee. Email our MSAI product director at [email protected] to get started! The typical MSAI requires each respondent to rate themselves using the assessment, and have the respondent’s peers, subordinates and/or superiors rate the respondent using the assessment as well.
MSAI™ results show how you rated your own managerial competencies, and how your peers rated your competencies. In evaluating your results chart, ask yourself the following questions below. The greatest disparities are the areas of greatest focus for your leadership development efforts:
